Relieve Arthritis Pain in College Station

Is joint pain making daily life difficult? Does knee stiffness after sitting too long or neck tightness limit your movement? If inflammation is worsening and simple activities like grocery shopping feel exhausting, now is the time to act. At Recalibrate Osteopractic and Wellness in College Station, we provide targeted rehabilitation to restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further joint damage.

Comprehensive Arthritis Treatment in College Station

Arthritis is not just a natural part of aging—it has specific causes that require targeted treatment. With over 100 types of arthritis, an accurate diagnosis and the right therapy are essential for effective relief.

Osteoarthritis results from gradual cartilage breakdown, leading to pain, stiffness, and limited movement. Our approach focuses on strengthening muscles, preserving cartilage, and reducing inflammation to improve joint function.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition that triggers chronic joint inflammation and potential joint damage. We use specialized therapies to minimize inflammation, slow joint deterioration, and restore mobility.

Psoriatic arthritis, associated with psoriasis, causes painful, swollen joints. Our treatment plan addresses both skin and joint symptoms while enhancing movement and flexibility. Regardless of the type, our customized rehabilitation plans aim to reduce pain, preserve function, and prevent further deterioration, allowing you to move more freely and comfortably.

Identifying the Root Cause for Lasting Relief

Many treatments fail because they don’t address the underlying causes of arthritis. We conduct detailed evaluations to create a customized treatment plan:

  • Genetic Risk Assessment: Identifying hereditary factors.
Posture & Movement Analysis: Identifying repetitive motions and poor posture that stress joints.
  • Nutritional Review: Pinpointing deficiencies and inflammatory food triggers.
  • Stress & Inflammation Connection: Evaluating how physical and emotional stress impact symptoms.
  • Mobility & Gait Testing: Detecting muscle imbalances and movement restrictions.

This comprehensive assessment allows us to deliver results-driven treatment for long-term relief.

Personalized Treatment at Recalibrate Osteopractic and Wellness

Medication and surgery are not the only solutions. Our hands-on therapies help relieve pain and restore function naturally:

  • Manual Therapy: Techniques to reduce stiffness and improve joint mobility.
  • Bracing & Support: Stabilizing joints to alleviate strain and prevent worsening conditions.
  • Therapeutic Exercises: Strengthening the muscles supporting your joints to improve mobility.
  • Nerve Release Therapy: Alleviating nerve compression to reduce pain and discomfort.
  • Postural Correction: Realigning the body to relieve abnormal joint stress and prevent future issues.

These techniques work together to restore comfort and improve your ability to move with ease.

I needed physical therapy for a cervical disc issue and was in significant pain with sleepless nights. I initially went to Advance Physical Therapy, but there I ended up seeing a different aide or technician every session and only met the therapist once. On top of that, I had to explain my condition over and over, an exhausting process, especially while already dealing with so much pain. I found Recalibrate Osteopractic & Wellness while desperately searching for a better option, and working with Tate was a completely different experience. He is not only highly experienced but also genuinely invested in his patients’ recovery. Every session was one-on-one with him, which made a huge difference. He always took the time to listen, track my progress, and clearly explain the treatment plan. I never felt rushed or overlooked. Tate worked diligently and methodically to help me recover, and I am truly grateful for his care. I highly recommend Recalibrate Osteopractic & Wellness to anyone looking for skilled, consistent, and patient-centered physiotherapy. His professionalism and commitment are outstanding.

I am 55 years old and have been dealing with tightness and pain in my right hip for several years. My wife finally made me go to an orthopedic surgeon to get it checked out. He took an x-ray and “examined” me for about 12 seconds. He told me I had arthritis and need to have a hip replacement. I tried to explain to him that my pain was not in my hip joint, but in the tendons and muscles around it. It felt like a constant spasm. He would not listen and just insisted that I would be having my hip replaced in a year. Next, I went to a chiropractor who did a few things to stretch my hip, but kept insisting that I needed to have my back adjusted. Nope, not for me. Frustrated to say the least, I was talking to the owner of my gym about the whole situation. He suggested that I talk to Tate, the physical therapist that was working out of the gym. I spent a few minutes explaining to Tate what I was feeling and we decided to set up an initial session. He stretched and pulled, trying to gain some space in my hip which at this point was very tight and lacked mobility. It felt fantastic and as I told him, it was exactly what was needed. As I continued to see Tate regularly over the next several months I started to notice a real change. My mobility began to increase and my pain began to decrease. I would say my pain has decreased by 80% and the tightness has decreased by 90%! It has been life changing. I even ran up a flight of stairs one day without even thinking about it. When I got to the top I stopped and realized what a big deal that is. I do the stretches that he gave me to do at home regularly and have a monthly session with Tate to evaluate and maintain. Working with Tate has been great! He listened to what I needed and he has kept me from going through an unnecessary and unwanted surgery. I highly recommend his services and have suggested seeing him to anyone that tells me they are having an issue with pain.
